New York Hotels: The Holiday Inn Wall Street District

New York Hotels: The Holiday Inn Wall Street District

The Holiday Inn Wall Street District is part of one of the most well-known chain of New York City Hotels. Holiday Inn has been around for a long time, but, like other New York City Hotels, the hotel chain has reinvented itself. The Holiday Inn Wall Street District is no exception. It has deluxe rooms with free PCs, free internet connectivity and even free breakfast! The Holiday Inn Wall Street District was the 2003 Holiday Inn Quality Award Recipient. And it isn’t hard to see why, once you encounter the award winning staff of this most business-oriented of New York City Hotels. The Holiday Inn Wall Street District is a first-class hotel strategically located in downtown Manhattan. It is a mere 9 Miles from La Guardia Airport. The Holiday Inn Manhattan Wall Street District is a 3 Star hotel, situated in the historic and financial heart of New York City. A 17-story building, the hotel has guest rooms and a 24-hour self-service business center.

Each room is a "virtual office" stocked with every work-related necessity. MobilePC Magazine even named this Holiday Inn one of the country's most wired hotels.
It is close to the New York Stock Exchange, leading banks and financial institutions, and leisure spots like South Street Seaport and the dynamic neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, SoHo, Tribeca, Chelsea, Little Italy and Chinatown. The Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, African Arts Museum, Jewish Heritage Museum, St. Paul's Chapel, Federal Reserve and Ellis Island are a stone’s throw from here.

The hotel offers a 24-hour gift shop, as well as access to the private Cardio Fitness Center. It has periodical and CD music libraries, CD Players in every room, Nintendo games and a variety of on demand movies, too.
The Platinum Café’s innovative Italian food is superb. And the hotel's San Marino Ristorante's delectable cuisine makes it worth a visit.
If you want a business holiday spot, this is The One!

One of the Greatest Metropolises of the World: New York City

New York is the cultural capital of the US. Get the best deals on New York Hotels. Browse for deals like discounts on New York hotels, shows, sports events, tours which are available on top hotel sites.

There are a few bargains for lodging we could suggest in New York, especially in Manhattan.

Check out Hotel Pennsylvania in Manhattan. It is located bang opposite Madison Square Garden! It is a budget hotel, slightly old-fashioned, but very good service. The rooms are small, so what. It is definitely one of the more under-rated New York hotels in Manhattan.

The Wellington Hotel located on Seventh Avenue in 55th Street is just a five minutes walk away from Times Square, Central Park and Broadway! Agreed, the rates are exorbitant for a hotel with such minimal facilities, but keep in mind the location. Service is also excellent, so one cannot really grumble.

The Habitat is located at Lexington in mid-town Manhattan. Rooms are small, in fact tiny. There is scope for improving the maintenance. But, it’s a truly cheap hotel and it is just a few blocks away from Broadway!

If you are looking for something different, check out Sheraton Russell hotel. Good interiors with a mini-bar and a decent business centre. Located close to Grand Central Station, yet the surroundings are remarkably quiet and peaceful! We are able give only a few reviews on New York Hotels.

Getting around New York

Are you on a trip to New York? Nobody need tell you that this city is one of the most happening places on the planet. From Broadway to South Street Seaport Museum to Avalon, the famous night club, you can never have enough of this place. But get your accommodation booked first at some New York hotel sites such as New York Hotels and New York Hotels .

New York hotels especially in Manhattan have rooms which are smaller than those in other American cities. Space is the major constraint. Most of the people opt for lodging in Times Square, as all important landmarks such as Broadway, Grand Central Station and Central Park are close to this place. The above mentioned websites provide comprehensive services while you are staying in New York hotels. While in New York, check out Madison Square Garden for a game of National Football League featuring New York Knicks or head for the Yankee stadium in Bronx to watch your favorite baseball stars in action.

These sites offer you discounts on New York hotels besides other travel-related bookings for car-rentals, flight bookings. Also check them out for shows, or tours like the Big Apple Helicopter Tour which covers attractions like the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, Statue of Liberty and so forth. Or you could book yourself a Classic New York tour ticket using which you can travel for 48 hours with unlimited hop-on, hop-off service in Manhattan. This tour also allows you admission into Empire State Building Observatory and South Street Seaport Museum plus a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty.

New York – Quintessential Multicultural City

E.B.White: “….. New York will bestow the gift of loneliness and the gift of privacy."

What started out as a 17th-century teeny weeny Dutch colony is now one of the world's greatest cities. Unarguably the most cosmopolitan city in the world, New York is not anything if not culturally pluralistic in every sense of the word. Known also as the ‘Big Apple’, it has representations from people from all the major counties in the world. New York hotels fit budgets of all pockets, beginning from one-bed lodgings to the snazziest hotels in the world. Some New York hotels provide city tours, tickets to Broadway shows etc.

The city is divided into five boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island with more than 4000 neighborhoods, and myriads of ethnic and religious groups. New York Hotel sites can give you more comprehensive information about the city with maps, directions etc.

Manhattan is the commercial hub housing one of the tallest high-rises in the world including Empire State building, United Nations building and also the razed twin towers of World Trade Centre. It also houses the busiest stock exchange in the world whose index is referred to as Dow Jones. Broadway has the most theatre scene in the world. Statue of Liberty stands tall affirming strongly the freedom and egalitarian values that America represents. It is also the jazz capital of the world, where Blacks from Harlem rule the roost. The city which never sleeps also houses artists of various hues such as novelists, painters, sculptors, avant-garde fashion designers, alternative forums, saloons galore and so on. It has also one of the most well networked and efficient metro railways in the planet. The international airports of New York are John F.Kennedy and La Guardia. Know more about regular taxi services from airports to New York hotels.
